If you figure the size of the tires into your final drive gear ratio, which
you should, then by changing to a larger tire, say 1100x20, your equivalent
final drive ratio ends up somewhere in the neighborhood of 6.0 to 1 . This
will allow you to cruise at 60 mph without overreving the engine. You may
want to bring earplugs though.
