I don't believe that it was the same person. The Wisconsin/Minnesota
situation was over by the end of 1997, probably earlier, and at least one
person went to jail. It seems to me that something like this happened in New
York, but I can't remember any of the details.

I seem to remember the scandal in Wis/Minn area about someone pulling items
off the ranges and such. Could this be he same person/incident. It sounds

Now that's interesting, I was just talking to a Canadian collector yesterday
and he told me about a friend (fellow Canadian) who had sold a fully
restored M16 halftrack with quad mount to a person in the Portland Oregon
area who claimed to be a museum representative and that the vehicle was
going on display in the museum that the Spruce Goose is housed in
(McMinnville OR. I think) and that when they contacted this museum later to
check on the halftrack the staff didn't know anything about it. Now they
don't know where the halftrack ended up. I wonder if this is the same guy?
