For the Julian dates it is only a 4 digit calander. 1234, would be year (1)
as in 61, 71, 81 you should be able to tell (I would hope) what you are
looking at by ten year increaments right? Then the 234 would be the 234th
day of that year. I will try to bring home a calander to scan and get it
here on the net.

Hope this gets some of you closer to what you are needing.
