Randy,
By now you realize "the list" enjoys the "new Guys" but will really offer
excellent advice whenever you need help. I did not have this advantage
when I bought my '66 M35A2, but have since learned to follow the sensible
advice from these guys.
My wife and I made a 425 mile one-day jaunt in "MUD PUPPY". 12 hours , no
ear plugs (semi-deaf for a couple of days) a mistake I will never make
again! No spare parts, not so much as a cotter pin. I strongly advise
following the suggestions from these folks.
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, but after returning home and realizing
how foolish the trip was, we go prepared now. We still have alot of fun
with the truck, but you just cant go to the local parts store for most
things you may need.
There is nothing you can drive that will compare to the satisfaction one
of these brutes will give on the road.
Have a safe trip and please let the list know how it went.
