The early style rear curtains didn't have any provision for the three point
belts. The current style rear curtains have sections that extend over the
rear belt towers. If you decide to modify your curtain you will need to use
a similar material and construct a box shape that will fit over the tower
which you'll need to glue and stitch in place. Alternatively, you can buy a
newer style curtain or trade with someone that has the newer style curtain
and the older two point belts. I have this combination on one of my trucks
but I plan to upgrade to the three point belts so you can't have mine.
> Hi: I now have a set of 3 point seatbelts for my 85 M998, however, it
appears that in order to mount them correctly, I must cut a portion of the
rear divider curtain (behind the rear seats) out to allow the belts to
function...does anyone know if this is correct, I don't have any paperwork
with the belts, only the triangular mounting towers, and the belts...
