I was talking to a vendor this year at an HMV show and there was a dog
barking
in the distance (they were allowed at this show) and he remarked that he
goes to equipment
shows and his liability insurance company cane to one to see if he was doing
things in a safe
manner around all this heavy (running) machinery. They told him to leave
then and there and
not to attend any shows where dogs are allowed....

There reason was that some machinery generates high frequency squeals (we
cannot hear)
 and it makes the dogs quite irritable
