I had trouble with my fuses melting to the point of warping their shape.
The fuse did not blow but the plastic was bent till it no longer made a good
connection and the head lights went out.
It was then that I noticed a spark jump from the fuseblock to the fuse(
this is what caused the heating of the fuse).
I solved this by cleaning the fuse contacts (with a nail file torn down the
middle) in the fuse block and bending the back togehter ,
so they would pinch the fuse and make better contact.

Still have a problem blowing a 5amp fuse for the dass lights are on, and the
sterio is turned up to much, but I seldom us it anyway !

Hope this helps
