ok, here's one for someone who's an electrical engineer / ham radio
person.
i want to rewind the horn solenoid for a m-35. the wire size is .016"
and there are 1100 turns and the operating voltage is of course 24
volts. my theory is that i need to use half the number of turns and
twice the circular mils of wire size, to operate it on 12 volts, but my
dc electromagnet theory is a little rusty.......
tom and m-35a8 ( will be at gilbert!! )
