All comments on the lockers were well stated. My intention was to shed light
on their existence. I in no way endorse the purchase of these for the
everyday driver. All of my recovery vehicles are "locked up" front and rear
and they can be quite a handful for even a skilled off roader. My recovery
business puts me in harms way on each recovery since by the time they call
me, all other routes have been exhausted. Just like the winch thread a while
back, there is no substitute for common sense. If one tries to drive a
vehicle thats locked up on solid ground without front hubs is asking for
trouble. I won't even tell you how many broken parts I've replaced because of
the lockers and their ability to direct 100% of power to a single wheel!
