Again, not all states require a CDL for this. It does require what
some states call a Class C license. Check your state's laws. Its
obscure, but there are precedents for personal property that you can
transport with a large vehicle over 25,999 GVW.
If you're moving personal property, then you don't need a CDL. You
arne't doing it for commercial purposes. I spoke with a Federal about
this a while back.
