M35 prop shaft & muffler rubbing

Drove the M35 around alot this weekend and started hearing a high-pitched
metal to metal rubbing noise, especially on de-acceleration...turns out to
be the prop shaft rubbing on the rear end of the muffler.

When stopped, these two items are about 3/8" away from each other. The
muffler is mounted well and doesn't move.

What might be happening down there? How do I fix?
