Meeting called to order by President Brenner @ 1905 hours
1. Financial report, same as last month.
2. D. Cristenberry reports on the club members participation at
Watermelon Days in DeSoto Kansas. Good time had by all memebers present.
Club has been invited to attend again next year.
3. Discussion about location & date of club Christmas party. Nothing
firm decided.
4. R. Shumate on power washer. Possible demonstration @ club campout.
5. J. Pujonis will bring "hot tank" he is donating to club campout.
6. D. Christenberry advises he will be having a sale @ the Mule Barn on
October 5th, 2002.
7. B. Brenner advises the next Mid-America library show will be held in
Kearney Missouri on November 2nd, 2002. B. Brenner advises he will
attend the planning meeting about this.
8. J. Krumme on parades & plans for upcoming events. R. Shumate passes
around lists for members to sign up.
9. D. Flels advises he is looking for WWII era jeep tires.
10. C. Rau advises on a website about vehicles to be used in promotions.
11. G. booth advises of an event occuring on Sptember 13th in Paola
Kansas.
12. Motion made by R. Shumate & seconded by G. Booth to have the club
purchase one or two 10' X 10' portable awnings to use @ events by club
members. B. brenner & G. Booth will research best deal & buy for club.
13. G. Nicholson on possible purchase of a banner for the club to display
@ events attended by club. B. Brenner will research, & report back @
next meeting.
Next meeting will be held @ the Olathe Police / Fire station on 103rd
(College Blvd) just West of K-7 hwy, wednesday night @ 1900 hours.
