My friend Hamish Taylor has decided he'll never do anything with his two
1942 C15A's and is open to offers from anyone brave enough to pick them
up from central Scotland.
Cargo truck is pretty much all original, with added winch, and has Bedford
28HP engine fitted which means it'll drive, albeit a bit slowly. Has early
civilian pattern instruments.
Water tanker is completely original chassis cab with Morris-Commercial 200
gallon tank for 1941 truck. Original stovebolt engine is in place and did
run but was tired - that's before he took the manifold block off to get
fixed and the 'fixer' broke it and binned it.... Later standard military
instruments. I'm sure he WOULDN'T want to sell the water tank body
seperately - if you want it buy the truck.
Cargo truck would be more expensive than the tanker, probably a good deal
for someone brave enough to take both but fair market value needed.
E-mail me for his phone number if you are in the UK (or Europe and VERY
dedicated as we now have a Rosyth to Zeebrugge ferry.)
