Hi all, while we are on M37s how about one that starts cold within one
revolution but run it for a short time or a few miles an shut it off and TRY
to restart it in a few minutes and it just turns over for about 10 to 20
revolutions and if I am luck it might start and IF it does it runs normally,
no smoke or stumbling las if it were flooded. I have tried some choke and no
choke, no difference, I tried holding the throttle part open, and it makes no
difference. It has a rebuilt carb and fuel pump, the fuel tank is clean as is
the filter. Plugs and points are good, it runs down the road without problem.
Any thoughts? :-) Thanks for any help, Fred
PS "pumping" the throttle does nothing on this truck, it has a vacciuum
operated accerleration pump.
