I have a 1984 M1010 that I drive daily. It's my only vehicle. I've recently
took it on buisness trip to Austin TX. from St Louis MO. and back. I haven't
had any problems with it. It will do 70mph with no problems. The fuel
economy sucked tho (12 miles per gal). The only things not stock are a pair
of custom seats, overhead console, remote controled spotlight, and I
converted it from 24v to 12v. There were no changes to gearing etc. I have a
blast driving this thing. Good luck with yours.
