I've seen that mod somewhere before but I can't remember where. If I
remember correctly it was an attempt to increase the rear track to reduce
the tendency of these things to roll over. It consisted of widened rear
fenders and flipping the rear wheels around so that the offset was on the
inside instead of the outside. I never drove one like this in the military
but I've seen it somewhere before.
