If you get creative you can teach them foreign words. "Tosser" is a
nice one. If they use the foreign words, they're less likely to get
snagged for it at school by the staff.
It saved me once when I inadvertently used "bloody..." vs some other
more choice American term, a senior member of the school staff was in
earshot. Had I used the other term, I'd have likely had my first
detention.

Seriously, I have to say that you're not going to be able to insulate
a child in this day and age from all that is "bad and wrong". Your
best bet is to make them capable of dealing with it in as healthy a
manner as possible. That kind of thinking is probably why Ozzy
Osborne's kids probably won't end up dead from drug over doses or
contracting AIDs.
