Is Fifi the plane housed in Palm Springs at the volunteer center which has
restored to flying condition almost one of every WW2 aircraft? I recall
there being one huge bomber in the rear display hanger, but don't really
know a B17 from a B24 from at B29 ( Enola Gay was a B29? ) If you like WW2
hardware this place is great: they have the planes fully restored, some
vehicles, and other paraphernalia from specific campaigns, which change
once in a while. I believe the gentleman who funds it is the son of the
fellow who invented the hydraulic press for modern garbage trucks.
