FUBAR situation is all too common. The policewoman who, chasing a drug
suspect, burst into a local convenience store dressed all in black,
with a black mask, gun drawn, and no body armor, no police insignia,
was shot by the storekeeper.
He saw a masked robber with a gun, not a policeman. The on-scene
investigation by police result in no charges filed against the
storekeeper, They determine he had no way of knowing it was a police
officer. Today the doctor says she will most likely not walk again. If
only she had been wearing body armor, or some kind of device saying
"police".
