I wish I could see the rear suspension to see if it had been upgraded. It's
more than likely a 1960 Ford. I had one a few years ago, wish I never sold
it.
I remember that the transmission shift lever on mine would pick up and
rotate to either side. All you had to do was grab it and pull up, then
rotate. It would lay against the dash. Did all the M151 series of vehicle
trannys do this. To put it back, just rotate and it would snap back in
place. Pretty cool in my opinion.

Subject: Re: [MV] M151A1 For sale (not an A-1)
Hi Ken:
Talk a closer look, you will note that this is not a A-1, its a straight
M151, and probably an early one based on the two cowl vents.
The hood and bumper are A-1, but the tub has the early pedels, brake
handle, shovel handle guard, no turn signals, etc... if you look at the
data plate and info plate you can make out M151.
The tub looks good so I think the price is good for such an early piece,
should be an easy restoration.
If you can get me the SN and Date of delivery I would be curious
Hope all is well on your side of the pond,
Hank
