Starter is a 'universal' motor. if you reverse the voltage, current
flows 'reversely' through both the stator and the rotor.
1=forward (motion or electricity)
-1=reverse (motion or electicity)
stator rotor rotation
1 * 1 = 1
-1 * -1 = 1
