Some type of M-35 heater kit

Hello,

Someone gave me a M-35 heater kit, but it appears not to be a typical hot
water heater kit.

It has canvas covers for the hood and grill, an insulated battery box - with
what looks like to be a small radiator for under the batteries, gas-fired
"coolant" heater,and small parts,parts,parts.

Can anyone tell me what this really is ???
