We met with one of the Mexican Generals that came to an open house at Camp
Mabry (National Guard HQ) in Austin, TX.
He informed us that the Mexican Govt has lots of WW2 vintage vehicles
floating around. Some run, some just site in cannibal fields.
But, the Presidential Guard still drive Stuart Tanks in parades, these are
immaculate and well kept up, as they are show pieces of power. Anyone ever
do any exploring south of the border?

Subject: [MV] Vehicles in France?
Hello everyone. I was talking to a guy I know that went to Normandy a few
years back with his grand dad as part of a D-Day celebration. His Grand
father was a D-Day veteran. He told me they went to a big shed or barn of
some kind that was full of WW2 jeeps, Sherman tanks and other stuff. He
claims the dude that took them there told him the stuff was left there after
the war and that the French government owns it. He also told me he got to
drive a jeep that I assume had been restored and was not part of the stored
stuff. The stuff was in Caen.
Here's the question. Does such piles of Armour really exist and is it
possible to get some of it. My friend said he really wants a jeep, so
there's hope I can infest him with OD fever.
I will interrogate, I mean question him further on this matter as time
permits. I got all light headed just thinking of all that booty.
