Hi Dave
Not to get into a slanging match with you, but this seems to be the opinion
of many. However with their narrow minded opinions they never seem to be
capable of thinking about the other side.
You might revell in the sight of a B29. However I have a friend who lost
most of his family in Japan when the A Bomb hit.
Therefore in this case, who is a large auction company (or anyone else that
banns this type of stuff) to say what shall be banned. As far as i'm
concerned if you (meaning the majority of People) don't like it, don't look
at it.
Im sure there are some Japanese and German Vets who don't like the sight of
your truck and my motorcycle, but the understanding these days are they have
been lovingly restored for historical purposes.
Yes i agree that many things happened that were totally unforgivable but
no-one can be blamed, not now. Everyone had a job to do, on all sides, and
in cases it was do the job or loose your life. Not nice in anyones book.
Yes I have dressed up in a Black Waffen SS Tank uniform, I have also donned
German Field Uniforms and attended shows with my German Shepherd and not
once have i ever offended a veteran or other person. I would say that 90% of
the Vets etc that I have met are just awe inspired to see a sight from a
long time ago but never are they offended (and yes i have asked) so, does
this really make me a bad person, at the same time i am also a retired
Military Police officer that has served my country, and regularly put on all
my WWII NZ dispatch Riders gear and support the local ANZAC, D Day Parades
with my Bike...
I won't go into the WWI planes that i have helped restore etc...
Just remember, (and i amphasize this strongly) Americans were not the only
ones to loose life during the war, you say respect for those who lost ones
or even whole families in German Concentration camps and Japanese.... I have
respect for ALL persons lost and their families whether they were British,
NZ, Australian, American, German, Japanese, Russian.......
But.. everyone is entitled to their opinion...
Sincere Regards

You are obviously not part of the moral majority out of respect for those
that lost loved ones or even whole families (German concentration camps and
Americans held by the Japanese or killed instead of. ) it is not politically
correct to show, sell or parade Axis contraband or equipment.
My Mom lost some Brothers in WW2 one her twin which I am named after and I
don't feel this way I love the German vehicles but that is were it stops I
have a real dislike for there uniforms specially SS or Death Squad gear
sorry these are my feeling this is America and you can do what you want but
I do not understand why someone would dress up in Black SS gear and walk
around what is the point... history Evil History.
I love the quality of the German Tanks and trucks and even the Swimwagon
(spelling) they are over built and over engineered a tribute to engineering
I see them as equipment they could be used for peace keeping as well as war.
Now a black hat with a skull on the front that makes me wonder why.
My 2 cents
Dave
