Hi List...
I regret that I must sell my brand new, never installed,
still-in-the-crate NOS M35A2 deep water fording kit. I really wanted
to put it on my deuce, but I need money for other projects.
Full information is available at:
http://www.cucv.net/deuce/fording_kit/
The kit is absolutely complete, and even has the air fittings and
valve that go on the dash to blow air into the clutch bell housing to
keep the water out.
It was stored in the rain for some time, but it appears that all the
pieces are all still in perfect new condition (they are meant to
handle water exposure, after all).
According to the TM, your deuce can currently ford water up to 30
inches, and with the kit installed it goes up to a whopping 72 inches!
That's to the top of my head! You can find the info on the kit in
your TM 9 2320-361-10 starting on page 2-210. There is no separate TM
for the fording kit other than the install directions that come in the
kit (they're included with this kit).
It is still in the original crate (yes, I opened it!) and since the
crate is large and flimsy, I will probably have to ship it in 2 boxes
(the stack tube in one or in its own original box, then all the rest
in another computer PC-sized box).
If you're interested, I'm asking $450 plus actual shipping costs.
PayPal is best.
If nobody here takes it, I will put it on eBay.
Thank you.
