Poor lighting of the instruments can usually be traced to
the clear lens on the sides of each gauge. Undo the four
panel clips, the speedometer and tach cables and pull the
panel away from the dash. You should be able to put a swab
of cleaner soaked cotton on a stick and get in there to
clean the lenses without undoing any of the wiring.
