I think that the tire figure is a little skewed for the M35. While the
new tire figure may be correct, 85% or better tread take offs are readily
available, usually in the $40 to $70 dollar range. This is something most of
the other vehicles don't have in their favor since they have been out of the
surplus circuit for a while. The killer on the M35 is the at least yearly
oil changes with associated filter costs.
I'm sure others will have different slants on this.
