Doug,
I have an M37 and several Power Wagons. The stock brakes are adequate if
adjusted properly and the hydraulic system is in good condition. Depending
on what would have to be done, if you do the work yourself I wouldn't expect
it to break your pocket book. Get yourself a manual and go by what it tells
you.
By the way, if the M37 has been repowered with a V8 forget everything I just
said.
