M35 cargo bed dimensions

Let me show my ignorance on M35's again:

what is the overall bed length on most std M35's?

Mine is 12 ft ( actual measurements just a tad longer than that )

I was just told that the gov't hadn't made a 12 ft bed in 25 years & that
they are all 14 ft. My truck is a 1968 model, which makes it
35 years old.
