You forsee that you will someday have an MV hobby which is out of hand
when:
Not being able to afford two cars, but doing well enough to have a
ground-hugging, camo-painted (after watching too many post-apocalyptic
movies), 1970 ford pinto with a hood scoop and the 4-banger souped up
to about 200HP, you find yourself passing an Army convoy on the
highway. Noticing that alot of the soldiers were staring at the camo
SCCA racer as it slid past at about 60, in the rear view mirror you
then notice the convoy pulling off into the rest stop which is now
almost a 1/2 mile back.
You turn around, drive 2 miles out of your way to get back to that
rest stop, and pull in behind the MV's. They look at your green hot
rod, you look at their trucks.
I was 23 at the time.
