The MILITARY TRANSPORT ASSOCIATION "MTA" WILL Hold the "SECOND ANNUAL SHOW &
SWAP MEET". Also known as the :ANNUAL WINTER OD FIX" on March 22-23, 2003
at the NJ National Guard Armory only 5 minutes off (Note to nit-picker: 5
minutes, not 5 miles, OK ?) off RT 80 Exit 34 East & West. Follow RT 15 &
you will find the greatest display of WW II, Korean, Vietnam & Modern
Vehicles, Armor & equipment in the Northeast. See the MTA Web Site:

Time to get out & enjoy something instead of playing in the snow. The Show
is "RAIN OR SHINE" Security is available overnight beginning Friday
morning. Special arrangements can be made, if discussed in advance.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS ABOUT BUYING/FIXING ANY SIZE MILITARY VEHICLE;
INFORMATIONAL SEMINAR (2 1/2) DEUCE MAINTENANCE; EXPLANATIONS & PICTORIAL
SEQUENCE of a 2 year project changing an M38A1 from a rusty, bottomless
junker, into an original looking complete Parade Vehicle. Look for the 1952
SCARWAF M38A1 with 1902 EAB C-6 Markings.
Many of you will see military vehicles that you normally can only see in
books.
There will be two (2) project vehicles on display. The MTA is rebuilding an
M718 Ambulance for the NJ National Guard Museum. The MTA is building a 5
Ton Vietnam Era "GUN TRUCK" Dig out your old pictures and talk to the Gun
Truck committee.
Donations of Cash or Checks towards the projects are TAX DEDUCTIBLE.
Membership in the MTA prior to March 1st costs only $10. Effective March 1,
2003 dues will be $20 for membership & $25 for family membership. The MTA
is one of the largest MV Clubs that is an MVPA Affiliate. Records show that
the MTA is quite probably the First Charter Member of the MVPA. Several
MTA Members were instrumental in the formation of the MVPA.
Attend the Show & Swap Meet for a fantastic day with your children. Start
them early to get a little OD in their blood.
Vendors items will include almost anything you can think of & more things
are available by ordering them at our show.
