Why on EARTH would any sane lister want to be in or near Florida in
August?!?!!? It's almost as bad as being here near the Valley. Ever drive
a '53 pick up ( Atomic Energy Commision: sort of MV related ) in 115 degree
heat? When you open the vent window to blow on you it's like being in a
microwave oven. <g>
There's few times I believe in retribution: If I'm screwed over for being a
little trusting I normally take my money elsewhere. But as I have yet to
attend at gathering as an OD owner I agree with you Joe and others: do what
you can to attend. I've run or helped with dozens of such get to gathers
for whatever group I was in or got talked into helping: strange things
happen because of personalities and politics. And stupidity. But if you
can get people there, they usually enjoy themselves.
