I think that you will find that the pounding of the components
may be a problem (my guess). Because the rears on the deuces
don't have shocks, they are very succeptable to hopping and
vibration. I call it being 'busy'. Tire wear may be an issue too
if it starts hopping even if you cannot perceive it while driving.

If you have a heavy load in the back, I think it would not be a
problem, but an empty cargo truck....

There is only one way to find out and that is to try it for a high number
of miles using known = sized tires on the rear to measure any
unequal wear.

If you had a vicous coupling instead of an on/off locking hub on one
rear axle...
