Hello,
If you want to get the torque convertor off im guess you will have to drop
the tranny, which on my chevy pickup you would do by unbolting the pan below
the transmission, unbolt the torque convertor from the flywheel(usually 3
bolts), then unblot the tranny, and take off the drive line, and drop the
tranny right out, and the torque convertor should stay on the tranny. This
is how i did it on my civy chevy truck, except i took the engine out (454),
big project. Well i personally do not own a m1008, so maybe i am totally
off, but thats my 2 cents worth. (anyone correct me if i am wrong)
Caleb
