The bridge layer is a cool machine. A few years ago I had my DUKW at a
rally at Fort Wolters in Texas and the 49 Engineer Brigade brought a M60
mounted bridge. They opened the bridge up and let me drive "duktape"
over it. There is a photo of it on our chapter website.
