The Abrams was part of the 3rd I.D. that was the first armored column to
push into Baghdad. It was hit by a shoulder fired missile in the rear
and caught fire, they thought they had the fire under control so they
began towing it with another M1 until the fire became uncontrollable.
The M1 was then blown up by the crew. Fox news reporter Greg Kelly
covered it and got some great video of the whole mission. Wouldn't you
like to see what fell on the edit room floor.
