if the transmission jumps out of any gear the bottom line is that
something is worn out and further driving could make it even more
expensive to fix. the 3053 is a very easy trans to work on and all parts
are readily available for very low prices at most surplus shops. it is
also not a good choice of transmission for a multifuel turbo engine
since the trans is designed for 300 ft lb of torque, and has a very poor
overdrive design.
