Paul, this is just a longshot but give it a try. Jack up one front tire.
Be aware that if my theory is correct, the tire will start spinning. The
driveline may be wound up on the sprag from being moved back and forth with
the wrecker. If you don't cycle the trans through 1st and reverse when
changing directions of the truck, the driveline can wind up.
