I bleed the air out of the fuel system by loosening (NOT disconnecting) the
fuel line on the output of the final filter. Then I turn on the fuel pump
with the dash switch, the one which buzzes loudly without air pressure. When
fuel comes out in a steady squirt the system is free of air. Oops! Don't
forget to place a bucket underneath! There is a bleed screw on the final
filter mount, but for some reason, it does not do the trick on my deuce.
A couple of quick turns on the fitting and it stops leaking.
Fire it up.
