As a part of my job duties, I teach land navigation to various groups ( law
enforcement, search rescue, etc.). I teach map plotting using Lat./Long.,
UTM, and MGRS. As a joke and icebreaker I tell them that some people
believe: "If God had meant for us to use the metric system, there would only
have been 10 disciples."
