A PRC-127 is a rather common radio that you almost always find at all major
hamfests. It is actually a Bendix/King radio which is a commercially
available radio. The only thing is that it is front end programmable that
is usually not available commercially but IS AVAILABLE to HAM radio
operators in specific frequencies. So what is the big deal here?? I
would've told GL that they were sold at a hamfest as scrap as they didn't
work and the person who bought them is not known. What would they do??
This is a easy radio to obtain. Julian Burke
