I can tell you that they were provided to the British, both for winter ops
(Norway) and use in Airborne operations (Varsity - Rhine crossing). We have
one in our group, with Studebaker body and engine, great little beast, sits
5 with the original backseats.
From what I remember: Weasel weight is around 4077lbs I also think they US
10th Mountain Div used them in Italy. It was seen in both the European and
Pacific theatre if that helps.

Subject: [MV] M29c Weasel questions
Esteemed OD Enthusiasts,
I have a few questions about Weasels.
1. Who manufactured them?
2. What were they used for?
3. How much cargo can they carry/tow?
4. What military campaigns were they used in?
5. How much does the Weasel weigh?
6. How much do the tracks weigh?
7. How does the gearbox split power between the
tracks?
Thanks in advance for any info!
