Bob,
The deuce engine removal should include the transmission.
Remove the trans top plate (shifter), or it will snag the
firewall. I don't care how you support the trans if you leave
it in, when you go to install the motor you will have a real
nightmare getting the trans input shaft into the clutch and
pilot bearing.
