Here's a tip to keep those small steel particals from
floating around in your engine oil:

A computer hard-drive has apx 1 inch ceramic magnets
of unbelievable strength. Just go to any computer
repair store and ask for a defunct hard drive, likely
they will just give it to you. Pull the magnets and
place them on the bottom of the oil pan. You will
think they have been super glued on if you try to take
them off. These are the worlds strongest magnets,
probably 10 times stronger than any magnet you can buy
at a hardware store.

Works on tranny, differentials, steel pot oil filters,
fuel tanks... where ever you have concern about small
bits of metal passing thru.
