Lots of stuff!

Hello list,

I removed the fire tanker bed from my M211 tonight. We unbolted it, chained
it to a tree and drove off. The truck looks tons better without that water
tank on it! The fire dept does not want the tank, so it will just sit there.
Before we put the M35 bed on it, I want to paint the truck, frame, rear
ends, pretty much everything, the paing is coming off, and things are
starting to rust, nothing major, but it needs paint. I would like to do a
olive drab green like Bobby Pendleton has his. I like the look of it. I want
a tough paint that will last and look good. I haven't done much painting
besides a rattle can. So if anyone has any suggestions on what paint to use,
where to get it. Also, A good primer that is compatible with the paint. Now
on to the electrical. My rear wiring harness is totally whacked from the
fire tanker conversion. On the M35 the rear taillight connectors are a
sealed push together type connector. On my truck, all of the connectors are
the locking type. On the m211, are the taillight connectors push together or
the locking type? I know where to get m35 tail lights, but are they the same
as the original M211 lights? It doesn't really matter that much to me, just
as long as the plug in. Also, does did the M211 have the trailer lights plug
in the bed? Now on to air brakes for the trailer. My truck does not have the
gladhands. I can get them of a M35, I just need to know where they hook to
the air system. I know that the M35 has a "Service" Gladhand on the left,
and a "Emergency" gladhand on the right. Is it the same on the 211? There
are just a lot of small things that got removed when the truck was
converted, and I want to put them back on.

Thanks a lot,

Caleb
