The problem is less lost records, than it is that the 2408-9 process was
never really enforced in the Army. They were supposed to be turned in
annually, but if it didn't happen, no one wrote back and really searched for
the vehicle.

I have access to the Army computer and tell you who owned it last if that
helps anyone.

    Depending on how old it is... the problem most records were destroyed
in the Govt records fire in St Louis in 1979. Good luck though...
and if you find out how to do this I would love to know, too...
