I'm starting to think that that HEMMT M984 had a damaged rear crane.
Note how it's leaning towards the front in it's stowed position in
the pictures. It looks like it was shoved against a very large solid
object while the truck was moved backwards.
Though it looks like a different crane that I've seen on some of the
other we photo's of M984s.
Try below for a good series of photos showing off several M984s.
