Placement of HMMWV Gunners Platform.

Fellow MV'rs...

I need some help in placing the Gunner's Platform in my HMMWV resto.

  In this case, consider the platform as being folded in a closed
position.

1. How far to the right must it be placed from the of the driver's seat
well, and
2. How far back must it be placed from the closest part of the interior
engine cover?

>From the diagrams in the manuals, it appears that the front end of the
platform is just about where the drivers seat turns vertical.

If anyone has a pointer to specs, please let me know what they are.
