I'll echo what Bruce said. I also have a 1953 REO. I just made my first
brake line while getting around a defective brake lock on the dash ( my
Deuce has been modified a bit ). Making a brake line is really, really
easy. The only thing I can see which needs attention is to make sure the
flared ends are very clean and even.
