Patrick, I remember getting my butt chewed by the OD when I was a young
man in the navy (read boot) I had duty boat engineer on a LCVP and when
the boat wasn't making any way...the flag hung down in the water...and
it was old oily lookin bilge water. I took the flag down...wasn't gonna
let my flag get in that stuff. He really didn't chew bad...just said
"put it back up...if it gets dirty...we'll wash it". Yes sir!...Fred Martin
